Stock Performer Giveaway!

With picWorkflow I’ve spent a LOT of time trying to come up with a viable, and reliable stats/analytics service for microstock and I’ve come to a conclusion… it’s damned near impossible to do well. Keeping up with changes in the agency pages, and collecting/collating all your image data into a usable form which offers real value is really difficult. In fact, it’s beyond my ability to implement and maintain.

Stock Performer Logo
The same cannot be said for Luis and Oliver at Stock Performer… Their tool for analysing your microstock sales and performance really is FANTASTIC, well built, easy to use, well maintained and damned good to look at too… I can’t recommend it enough.

Wow, I´d love to win your sparrow package! I tried Stock Performer a few weeks ago and I simply love the tool – very good insight into your performance that gives you valuable hints on how to improve and extend your portfolio. The reason I did not subscribe right away was that unfortunately my microstock incomes are simply too small yet to allow me for regularly paying for their services. Hence I´d be the ideal candidate for your price! :-) Cheers, Frank

I am also in search of good analytic tool for my microstock performance. As I am pro microstock photographer analytics plays important part in my work. I was using Microstock Analytic but support and development of this desktop application is pathetic – a lot of unfixed bugs and no features added for long time. And pricing is quite high. I was pleasantly surprised with StockPerformer. The only thing that SP lacks is that at the moment it is not possible to create custom sets (or collections) including the images from different sites (and same images on different sites should be found and united) and analyze the performance of these sets.

Yes, I think microstock photographer analytics can be an important guidance for shooting microstock. However, Bob, I am happy you gave up on providing that to us, too. Hopefully it will mean you focus on improving and expanding the workflow side even more. I love it!
I am not (yet) there to justify paying for analytics services. BUT I’d gratefully explore what it can do for me given the opportunity. SP sounds like a great starting point.

Good statistical analysis is sometimes a tough thing to come by, in our tiny “niche-market” of microstock. While some of the agencies have put together some great tools for their specific sectors, the ability to tie a bunch of them together and analyze stats as a whole across multiple agencies is something that I think would be pretty impressive.

SP is great. I had a few months of free use when it first launched but I have not subscribed as it is too expensive for the casual micro stocker such as myself.

If they had something in the $50/£30 a year in line with things like Flickr, 500px and Backblaze I would be more likely to subscribe.

If they introduce a mechanism to link images between agencies (I suggested manually to them but they said they may bring in automatic) then I may think again.

It is a great service for pros and larger earners than me!

I’ve register for free month today, I suggest SP is great service. Analytics is very important for me. Ideal feature will be linking for the same images on different photostocks.

    Hi Guys,
hard to say what i am thinking of Stock Performer i think i gonna try it very soon cause my income from microstock is increasing.
BUT problem is.. does it work with stock footage too??
Because the stock footage contributor are less served in the microstock world in my opinion.. so could be fantastic to have a way to track down even the video content.. well.. let figure it out.
Meanwhile congrat to picworkflow too.. i cros the finger an hope to win a sparrow Chance to get an account.

    Cheers!

I’m not sure on their support for footage (just images in my portfolios myself) though guessing that if they don’t support it yet (which they may well do) it’s on the roadmap :)
